The top two things they ask are the topics it covers &amp; the weightings (how much each topic is emphasized on your exam).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are the Fitness Theory Exam Topics?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fitness Theory exams cover these 10 topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Health-related benefits of physical activity<\/li><li>Holistic approaches to physical activity &amp; lifestyle<\/li><li>Anatomy<\/li><li>Movement mechanics<\/li><li>Physiology<\/li><li>Principles of conditioning<\/li><li>Exercise analysis &amp; risk management<\/li><li>Basic nutrition\/body composition<\/li><li>Program planning<\/li><li>Leadership skills<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is Each Topic Weighted on the Exam?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 10 topics covered on the Fitness Theory exam, the weightings are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Health related benefits of physical activity \u2013 3.5%<\/li><li>Holistic approach to physical activity &amp; lifestyle \u2013 3.5%<\/li><li><strong>Anatomy \u2013 15%<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Movement mechanics \u2013 25%<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Physiology \u2013 21.5%<\/strong><\/li><li>Principles of conditioning \u2013 10%<\/li><li>Exercise analysis &amp; risk management \u2013 8%<\/li><li>Basic nutrition\/body composition \u2013 7%<\/li><li>Program planning \u2013 5%<\/li><li>Leadership skills \u2013 1.5%<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>For your convenience, I\u2019ve highlighted the topics with the heaviest weighting.&nbsp; In other words, be sure to know these topics well, as they\u2019ll be tested the heaviest on the exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Kind of Questions Will They Ask?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The exam is completely multiple-choice, and there are 60 multiple-choice questions on the exam. Other provinces may require you to write in person.
