If you want to become a Certified Personal Trainer in BC, you need to register in the BCRPA Personal Training module.  But before you can do that, you need to pass the BCRPA Personal Training Exam based on the NFLA Personal Training Performance Standards.

BCRPA Personal Training Exam Format

Unlike the Fitness Theory exam, this exam has more than multiple-choice questions.  The BCRPA PT Exam contains:

  • 60 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Match-up Questions
  • 1 Case Study Question

Just like the Fitness Theory exam, it can be done online in the comfort of your own home using ProctorU.

PT Exam Passing Grade:

You need a 70% to pass.

PT Exam Time/Duration:

You have 3 hours to complete the exam.

BCRPA Personal Trainer Exam Cost

In 2020, the exam is $85 + tax.
